First Baptist Church Kahoka is located in the northeast corner of Missouri. We are a church family of believers in Jesus Christ who have found hope in Jesus and want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

First Baptist Church Kahoka has been a part of the Kahoka community since 1873. Although our church has undergone many changes over the years, our ultimate goal of sharing the hope of Christ has remained the same.

1. To encounter God and realize personal growth through worship.

2. To reach all people with the love, care, acceptance, grace, and forgiveness of God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

3. To proclaim the truth of God according to the Bible.

4. To instruct all people in Christian faith and service.

5. To develop spiritual compassion and care for all people.

6. To minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the people of our community.

This church, believing the Bible as the inspired Word of God and as the sole authority for faith and practice, and acknowledging its adherence to all the teachings of Jesus Christ, declares its purposes: To be the church of Jesus Christ in this place. As such, we aim to reach all people by proclaiming the Gospel through the ministries of worship, teaching, fellowship, outreach, missions, prayer, and service. To that end we exist to:

1. Equip the saints.

2. Evangelize the lost.

3. Exalt the name of Christ.
